Middle and High School Program: Leadership for Young Geniuses

Youth Entrepreneurs aims to provide entrepreneurship, leadership, and business development programs to strengthen and empower youth and adults in underserved communities to contribute to the economies that support them.

Our programs nurture the genius inherent in individuals through training and coaching that evokes the best they have to offer their communities and society. Youth Entrepreneurs provides a program to support students in middle school through high school and into adulthood.

Here is a brief description of each program:

Genius Generation is our program for middle school students ages 11 to 14. This program focuses on providing cohorts of local students from the New Haven County area with hands-on learning opportunities focused on social entrepreneurship. Our goal is to equip young students at a pivotal time to envision and work toward ways they can positively impact their community through innovative and servant leadership.

Genius Leadership is our high school and college leadership development program for youth ages 15-21. Through immersive and interactive workshops, students in each Genius Leadership cohort will be exposed to training on drawing from their natural leadership energy to lead themselves and others as they spark positive change. In addition to learning about leadership styles and effective group collaboration, participants will work together to address the root causes of issues in their communities, set goals, and determine how to measure the success of their service-learning experiences. The goal is to guide them to maximize their leadership skills and provide them the tools to grow into confident leaders and changemakers. 

Genius Consultant takes the genius leadership unleashed in our earlier programs to the next level, navigating emerging leaders through opportunities as they grow their seed ideas into thriving, fruitful initiatives. In this program for adults ages 21+, we offer professional development training and startup incubation services. We want to provide the critical education, mentoring, and resources necessary to help build sustainable careers and businesses that contribute to the local community and economy.

Our programs will follow CDC guidelines to ensure our faculty, staff, and students are safe.
