Youth Entrepreneurs provides entrepreneurship, leadership, and business development programs that empower young people and adults across Connecticut to thrive and contribute to the economies that support them.
Our programs cultivate the genius within each individual through hands-on training, coaching, and mentoring, inspiring participants to become confident leaders and changemakers in their schools, communities, and beyond. We support students from middle school through high school—and continue to support them into adulthood—with a clear pathway for growth.
Program Pathways
- Genius Generation (Middle School: Ages 11–14)
A hands-on introduction to social entrepreneurship, teamwork, and servant leadership. Students learn to envision and create positive change in their communities. - Genius Leadership (High School & College: Ages 15–21)
An immersive leadership development program that equips youth with the tools to collaborate, address real-world challenges, and grow into confident leaders and innovators. - Genius Consultant (Adults: 21+)
Professional development and startup incubation for emerging leaders who are ready to transform seed ideas into sustainable careers and enterprises that impact the community and economy.
Signature Workshops
In addition to the pathway programs, Youth Entrepreneurs also offers a series of workshops to meet students where they are:
- Career Readiness – Workforce skills, financial literacy, and leadership preparation.
- Idea to Pitch – Innovation and problem-solving projects that culminate in student business pitches.
- College Prep (Summer) – A pre-college social innovation lab blending entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and leadership development.
Youth Entrepreneurs follows CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all faculty, staff, and participants.
