Mission Statement
MISSION
Youth Entrepreneurs is a Connecticut-based nonprofit organization that prepares middle and high school students for entrepreneurship, career readiness, financial literacy, leadership, and community impact.
Through hands-on programs, mentorship, social-emotional learning, community engagement, and real-world entrepreneurial experiences, students build the confidence, creativity, resilience, and practical skills needed to thrive in school, work, business, and life.
YE is committed to expanding access for students who may have limited exposure to entrepreneurship education, career pathways, financial literacy, college readiness, mentorship, and professional networks. Our programs help young people discover their strengths, develop their voice, and connect their ideas to meaningful opportunities.
Youth Entrepreneurs also supports adult learners, emerging entrepreneurs, and professionals through workshops focused on business development, leadership, career growth, and entrepreneurial thinking. Together, our programs foster a lifelong culture of innovation, opportunity, and community-centered leadership.

Our vision is to be Connecticut’s leading resource for youth entrepreneurship, career readiness, and social innovation by creating a strong pipeline of young leaders who are prepared to build thriving futures, launch ideas, serve their communities, and drive meaningful change.

We believe every young person deserves access to meaningful learning opportunities, mentorship, and support. YE creates welcoming, student-centered spaces where students from different backgrounds feel seen, encouraged, and equipped to explore their goals, build confidence, and prepare for future success.

We believe knowledge creates opportunity. By teaching financial literacy, business strategy, career readiness, and entrepreneurial thinking, we equip students with practical tools to make informed decisions and pursue meaningful futures.
Leadership
We prepare young people to lead with confidence, responsibility, and vision. Our programs help students strengthen communication, teamwork, decision-making, and goal-setting skills.

We believe leadership is rooted in service. YE encourages students to understand community needs, give back, and use their talents to create positive change for others.
