Youth Entrepreneurs prepares “Generation Genius” to become the next generation of social entrepreneurs. Youth Entrepreneurs is a ground-breaking, hands-on immersion program for middle and high school students. Today, more than ever, young people need to be prepared for challenges that can turn into opportunities. Acquiring an entrepreneurial mindset and skills has never been more timely or valuable.
Rather than operating from a single building, Youth Entrepreneurs brings its enrichment programming directly to schools, community centers, and partner sites across the state of Connecticut. Our after-school sessions integrate positive social and emotional learning, community engagement, and entrepreneurial workforce skills. This flexible, on-site approach ensures that students in different neighborhoods gain access to opportunities that prepare them for future leadership positions in business, community, and government.

Students build workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, professionalism, problem-solving, time management, leadership, and goal setting.
Students participate in a hands-on innovation lab where they turn ideas into business or social impact pitches through creativity, research, teamwork, and presentation practice.
Students learn practical money skills, including budgeting, saving, understanding paychecks, needs versus wants, credit basics, and financial goal setting.
Students explore real community challenges and develop ideas that create positive change in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities.
Students are introduced to postsecondary pathways, career options, entrepreneurship opportunities, and professionals who help them imagine what is possible for their future.
